You just found a reliable supplier who got a couple of packages to you
no problem. But now you would like to order a whole cycle, not only you
want to get everything home before you start your cycle, a complete
cycle is also cheaper. But now a problem presents itself. You didn't
really mind losing a small package worth fifty or so bucks, but this
one is a big one and when couple of hundreds of dollars are at stake
you want to make sure there is no interference by anyone. Not to
mention any problems you might have should the package be intercepted
with your name on it.
Normally, one would have his own name and address written on the
package. If everything goes well, that is the most convenient way, you
open your mailbox and pick up the package, and instantly you are ready
to bulk. However, if something goes wrong, you might have problems. One
of the greatest (...)

North America) - In Toronto on Wednesday The Dalai Lama finished his Western tour with a public lecture on World Unity, calling the concept of war "outdated". He called into expamle the current relationship between Germany and France, who were once hostile enemies.

Buenos Aires - First Lady Christina Fernandez, the 54 year old wife of President Nestor Kirchner, is poised to assume the role of President of Argentina after initial election results have come in at nearly 44 percent in her favor. Fernandez is a lawyer and senator whose husband has lead a remarkable recovery since Argentina's economic crisis in 2001. She will become the first female elected to the presidency of the country. The news suggests a further shift in a rising global trend toward matriarchy, as nations have been increasingly supportive of women as presidential leaders. With the recent elections of female heads-of-state in Germany, India, Chile, Finland, Liberia (Africa's first female president), and the popularity of both Yulia Tymoshenko in Ukraine and Hillary Clinton in the United States, there has been a remarkable emergence of support for female leadership on the world stage.

Prague, Czech Republic) - Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek said Thursday that Russian military will not be allowed to monitor the radar site proposed by Washington as part of its global missile defense system. The United States is planning to place the new base near Prague, it says, to protect against a potential threat from Iran. Russia strongly opposes the idea of a U.S. presence in its former Eastern Bloc. According to AP sources Topolanek told the Czech parliament that Russian nonmilitary observers could be allowed, but no soldiers will be invited. The U.S. also wants to place 10 interceptor missiles in Poland as part of the system. Both the Czech Republic and Poland, which are Nato members, support the missle defense plan. Russia sees the U.S. presence as a threat to dominance over its former territories, and has engaged in both angry rhetoric and theatrical military excersises over the (...)

From a visit on July 30, 2006
-MOSTAR, BOSNIA
When a place lends itself to the leisure of other people it generally becomes a haven for the lewd and the superficial. I am now in the fifteenth month of a backpacking journey that has taken me to some of the less contemporary parts of the world. In speaking with people and seeing their ways I have found that culture, above all things, is what makes a country endearing, and that a culture exploited is something lamentable. A place that panders to tourism is simply a place without a soul.
With an old friend from the States I have recently been traveling through the less visited regions of Eastern Europe. Having started in Slovenia and made our way down along the Adriatic Coast, we were disheartened by the droves of vacationers there. Croatia we found to be beautiful, overcrowded, and overpriced.
